Carry yourself far beyond the boundary line of your common experiences
and into a realm of thought in which you are not accustomed to dwell. -
Napoleon Hill-
Limitation is an illusion! But still the most of us persist
in making that illusion our reality. Even though we grow up listening that sky
is the limit (now a day not even the sky is the limit), few of us truly
believes in this statement. We choose to live in boundaries limiting our self emotionally,
spiritually and also professionally. We believe in only what we have been taught.
We grow up with a certain patterns and we persist to build up our lives
following that perception. Choosing to live such a life will make us victims of
the famous box! Being a victim of the box is making a living that is
illusionary secure and comfortable, avoiding risk, but the most of the time living
unhappy and taking decisions based on fears and the opinion of the crowd. But most
of the time, this turns out to be far of what we really want. This will limit
your creativity, dreams and most of all your potentials. It is sad but true
that many people are still living thinking in a box.
But why, why do the most people choose to be a victim of the
famous box? Or are we forced to live such a life? In this blog I would like to
put on the spot some reasons why most people choose to settle in a comfort life
without living beyond expectations and limitations making them a victim of the
box.
Left vs Right side of
the brain
Our way to look at life and take decisions depends also
on the consciousness of the use of the left and right side of the brain. Your
left brain is the intellect that calculates, figure things out, analyzes, and
comes up with the most logical choices for you. The left brain most often
overthink and reanalyze everything and leads you to decisions that are common
or like you are “supposed “to act. While to right side of the brain represent
the intuitive side that feels and goes beyond reason and analysis. Your right
brain is sensitive to love and emotional about things that are important to you.
The right brain will always lead you
passionately to your purpose.
Our Convictions
Our convictions are shaped mostly by the way we are raised
by our parents, our environment and education and also what we have experienced
through our life path. This has a huge influence on our perceptions; how we
look at things, how we react and the way we think. When we stick strictly to
these convictions we are not able to open our minds to look things differently.
This may leads to a lack of imagination to create your own reality.
Fear
Why are we still talking about the box? The human being is living struggling with 7 basic
types of fears; Fear of poverty, fear of criticism, fear
of ill health, fear of loss of love, fear of loss of liberty, fear of old age
and fear of death. These seven basic
fears can hold a lot of people in suppression throughout their lives. No great
enduring success can be achieved by anyone until he has mastered all seven.
I would say get rid
of that box! Now a day we should dare to dream, dare to believe that everything
is possible and that there is so many ways to achieve your goals. Nurture your
mind with positive words, read books to broader your knowledge and acquire new
perspectives, surround yourself with people that support you and help you to
look at the possibilities that the world is offering you. See the bigger
picture, take actions and embrace change. When you find yourself limiting
yourself tell yourself “My dreams are as
big as possible, and as perfect as the Universe and the love of God”.
